Sound Icon performs works of Helmut Lachenmann, Pierluigi Bllone and Marc André as part of Goethe-Institut Boston's celebration of Helmut Lachenmann.

Tonight's program--performed by artistic director Jeffrey Means, and two of Sound Icon's original members: Mike Williams and Yoko Hagino--will evidence how Lachenmann's invention of an entirely new musical venacular continues to unfold into further sonic possibliities in the hands of two of his most prominent and imaginative ex-students.
